Every visitor to Marrakech must ride in the fabled carriage. The coachman will be glad to show you the monuments, the Palmeraie, the Hivernage, and the history of Marrakech. You may experience a journey in a carriage with Morocco Global Adventures, and the experience will make for wonderful memories.

Program information:
Sit down in a carriage pulled by horses and go around the city. View the city gates, known in Arabic as “babs,” and learn the legends surrounding them as you pass past the ramparts built to defend the Marrakech Medina in the 12th century.
Any time of day will suffice if you’re merely using the caleche to travel from point A to point B and save your feet, such to the Majorelle Gardens or Djemaa el-Fna Square. Typically, when you need a carriage, there are plenty available. (Note, however, that carriage drivers awaiting passengers in the busy Square will be more difficult to bargain with.)
However, there is no better time to take a caleche if your main goal is to relax, take in the views of Marrakech, and take some photographs.
An unrivaled visual experience is a caleche ride as the sun sets. Take the carriage around the city’s walls to discover a magnificent, fantastical landscape that serves as a reminder that you are far from home and in an environment unlike any other.
Naturally, it’s also the coolest time of day, allowing you to completely appreciate the view if you’re coming in the summer without constantly wiping perspiration from your face.
