Overview:
The 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga tour is one of our most booked tours. In general, our fabulous 3-day tour will start from Marrakech, the famous and busiest city in Morocco, heading to discover the desert. However, on our way, we will be passing by a lot of beautiful destinations that will definitely amaze you. Among some of the main places that we will visit, there is the Kasbahs of Ait Benhaddou, the fortified village. Besides, Ouarzazate, where we will go and visit the Atlas Studios. Merzouga desert, where you will ride the camels and spend the night in a Berber camp. Finally, after spending the night in the desert we will take a different way back to Marrakech where the tour ends.
Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades (320 km):
Our joyful 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will start by picking you up from your Accommodation or a certain meeting point. First of all, you will be traveling through one of the most famous mountain ranges in the world, The Atlas Mountains range. The first attraction that you will be exploring is the pass of Tizi nTichka (2260m), where we would stop and go visit some cooperatives of the Argan oil. Then, we will continue our way heading to visit a UNESCO world heritage site, Ait Benhaddou, a place that is famous for being a good spot for shooting movies with its unique towers and clay architecture. We will stop by this place to relax and discover it.
The 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga continues, this time we will take you to have lunch in one of the best restaurants in Ouarzazate. This latter is a bit similar to the last one. The Hollywood of Morocco has the Atlas Studios where they make movies and rent the materials for that. Many famous series and movies have been shot in this city and Game Of Thrones, Prison Break are the best examples. After exploring the Atlas Studios, we will drive to Boumalne Dades where we will spend the night in Dades Gorges.
Day 2 : Gorges Dades – Tinghir – Tinjedad – Merzouga (250 km):
Today, the second day of our 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will take you to visit and do one of the best highlights in Morocco. But before that, on the way, we will take you to see some beautiful attractions. First of all, we will go to visit the Telouat valley. Then, we will go to explore Toudgha one of the best and most unique places in Morocco, with its canyons that reach around 300 height. Secondly, we will pass by Tinjedad and Tinghir, where we would have lunch and take a rest.
Finally, we will head directly to the Merzouga desert, where you will have an unforgettable desert night. Our evening trip will start by taking the camels, we will drive through the golden dunes to our luxury camp. On the way, we will assist for sunset, and in our Berber camp, you will be experiencing a special night accompanied by a delicious traditional Berber meal. Besides, our camp team will make fire and play drums under the shiny stars. End of the second day of our 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga desert.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Back to Marrakech (560 km):
After having breakfast in our luxury camp, we will take the camels back to Merzouga. Because we will go back to Marrakech, we will have to leave early, around 8:00. We will drive taking another way passing by Alnif where we would stop and have lunch in Nkob. Further, we will drive traveling directly to Marrakech taking the Ait-Saouen pass. Finally, we will drop you in the red city where our 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
